Known gaps

  • DescribePackageVersion displayName is set for npm only (the one format the SDK documents: '@vue/ui'); the SDK says only that displayName 'varies depending on the package version's format', and summary/homePage/sourceCodeRepository/licenses key mapping beyond npm package.json is undocumented.
  • GetRepositoryEndpoint validates endpointType (ipv4|dualstack) but returns the same hostname for both: API_GetRepositoryEndpoint gives the enum and no dualstack hostname.
  • Error codes for blocked publishes and the undeletable root group are inferred: PublishPackageVersion blocked by a package or package-group PUBLISH restriction and DeletePackageGroup on '/*' return ValidationException (the only 400 in each op's modeled errors); the AWS docs state the behavior but not the code.

Structural gaps

These do not block an A grade — no implementation could produce real data here because the underlying data source cannot exist in an emulator.

  • Package-group weak-match confusable-character normalization needs the full Unicode confusables table (external data, go.mod is fixed); such packages match neither STRONG nor WEAK.
  • GetPackageVersionReadme/ListPackageVersionDependencies and DescribePackageVersion's summary/homePage/sourceCodeRepository/licenses only read a standalone package.json asset: archive ingestion belongs to the native npm/maven clients, whose wire protocols are not emulated.
  • Package and package-group EXTERNAL_UPSTREAM/INTERNAL_UPSTREAM origin restrictions are stored and returned but never applied: ingestion and upstream retention happen through native package-manager protocols that are not emulated.
