Pollinations API Proxy Service

Pollinations API Proxy Service is a reserved repository for a proxy layer that can centralize upstream Pollinations integrations behind one controlled API surface.

Current Status

The repository is currently in an early documentation-only stage. The implementation has not been published here yet.

Intended Scope

  • request forwarding to upstream Pollinations services
  • credential and policy isolation
  • rate limiting and retry control
  • logging and observability hooks
  • reusable integration point for multiple client applications

Why Keep This Repository Public

This repository documents the intended service boundary and makes it clear that the implementation is planned, but not yet released.

Roadmap

  • publish initial service skeleton
  • add environment configuration example
  • document supported upstream endpoints
  • add deployment notes and health checks
