Updated: 29 July 2026.
This file separates source-complete work from checks that require the full Fedora Kinoite base, a Fedora image-builder host or booted hardware.

The developer-os-session-0.2.0-1.fc44.noarch RPM was built successfully for
the x86_64 Fedora 44 target and inspected locally.
- Layer the session RPM, desktop profile and artwork onto Kinoite.
- Verify the final image exposes exactly one Wayland session.
- Verify no X11 session descriptors remain.
- Verify
startplasma-wayland, Xwayland, Flatpak, Podman and Toolbx in the composed filesystem. - Inspect the final OCI labels and transactional deployment metadata.
The manual Build OS container workflow now performs these checks remotely.
They remain unverified until its first successful run.
- Produce the UEFI qcow2 artifact.
- Generate and verify artifact checksums.
- Boot the image under QEMU/KVM.
- Exercise image A to image B update and rollback.
The manual Build bootable disk workflow supplies a disposable Fedora builder
and artifact upload. A larger GitHub runner may be required for storage.
- Native Wayland and representative Xwayland application launch.
- SDDM login and first-user desktop layout.
- Networking, Bluetooth, audio and graphics.
- Multi-monitor and fractional-scaling behavior.
- Accessibility and reduced-motion behavior.
- Boot, login, memory, CPU and interaction performance measurements.
No unverified item is described as complete in this status.
